Town of Florida changes law to cover large solar facilities

“Officials made changes to the town of Floridas solar law to make sure it covers large scale solar facilities.

The Town of Florida Board passed Local Law 1, A Local Law Amending The Town of Florida Zoning Ordinance By Amending Provisions Relating To Solar Energy Systems, during their meeting Monday.

The law allowed the town board to make changes to their solar law to include regulations for large scale solar facilities.”
